Yoga is for everyone!
Everyone is different, and a customized Yoga practice can help you progress towards a more balanced body and mind on your own terms, at your pace, in the privacy of your home.
Yoga for Wellness is NOT a Yoga class in private, where you come and the teacher leads the practice and does whatever he or she feels like teaching that day. Yoga can be used in very specific ways to bring greater balance to our lives. As a Yoga Therapist Anna is here to empower you, so you can change unhealthy behaviors and implement new practices to address your specific issues.
Here is how it works:
1. Schedule your FREE consultation over the phone to discuss your vision, goals, and challenges. Be prepared to talk about the current costs and impacts your health issues are having on your life and the payoffs you would get from reaching your goals.
2. Build your own case for why you think Yoga for Wellness might work for you and connect with your inner motivation for it. Decide whether you are ready to commit the time and energy needed to change your behaviors and get results.
3. Enroll in a committed short-term program, with regular sessions (once a week or once a month, depending on your needs) that give you consistent support to change behaviors and get results. On average, 4-6 sessions are required to start seeing change. Each session is $100 (special discounts for families with children and seniors).
Changing behaviors requires more effort than taking medicine. You have to actively, continuously work to create inner changes and establish new priorities. Therefore, the more time you invest in this process, the more success you are likely to have.

Yoga Therapy is an effective way to deal with:
It is self-empowering to get to know yourself, to get down to the root of the problem, and commit to doing something about it. Be prepared to commit to a schedule - you are not investing in private Yoga sessions, you are investing your time and money into creating new priorities. A weekly session is recommended, because it would allow you to have a continuous focus on your health, and it can take up to six months to reverse challenges and get new results. Every week the program would be updated as needed to take you closer to your goal. But the main idea is that you yourself need to be doing the work that is given to you, taking the matter of your health into your own hands.
The aim of Yoga for Wellness is not to cure the individual, as that sometimes can be impossible (terminal illness or genetic diseases). Yoga for Wellness can, however, bring healing to the individual by reducing suffering on every level, and in case of incurable condition - bring peace and acceptance. Whatever your issues, you have a chance to feel a lot better, live without suffering, enjoy a better quality of life. Yoga Therapy is non-invasive and totally complimentary to any other type of therapy or treatment.
Those who take private lessons from Anna may also receive an appropriate DVD. There is a wide collection of programs that address a variety of issues. Sometimes Anna even makes a customized video practice to take home!

Following knee replacement surgery, I spent over a year trying to deal with issues of balance and posture myself. At the urging of my wife , I started private lessons with Anna(I had been with her before the surgery). I was amazed at how quickly she analyzed my problems. I could feel improvement after the first private session, and it's been all positive since then. If you are trying to deal with problems yourself and not having much success, my advice is to contact Anna ASAP. You won't regret it
After too many years of back pain, bad posture and shallow breathing, I connected with Anna and have been working with her for about 18 months now. I've made a lot of progress thanks to her individualized approach to me and my issues. The most important change is that I've have come to appreciate the importance of taking the time for my yoga practice and the realization that its a long road but being on the road is what matters. Thank you Anna!
